Pietra Serena is an Italian limestone quarried in the hills around Florence. It became famous, as a frequently used material, during the Renaissance and has stood the test of time, both structurally and ornamentally. It is very uniform in composition and its pale grey color makes it suitable for both interiors and exteriors, and for small-scale and large-scale use
