The Italian marble, from which the great masterpieces were born, is
also known as the White Gold from the Apuan Alps.
This white marble comes from the Apuan Alps, ancient Italian mountains that have the smell of the sea and are set among the Versilia coast, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.
The mountain chain is close to the 2000 meters hight and gives a breath-taking view from the Tuscan hills to the sea.
This is the Carrara marble, basin the biggest and most ancient in the world.
The Carrara marble was already used during the Roman age and received its consecration in the Renaissance and its fame lasts so far.
